Hello.
My name is Corinne Anderson and I am a faculty advisor in the University Advising Center. I have worked here since the Center's first days, and I continue to be amazed by ever-increasing number of students we serve. I teach in the Department of French and Italian, on the French side. I have taught at KU for many years, and before working in the UAC, I advised French majors, students studying abroad, Freshmen and Sophomores, and students in the Honors Program. I sincerely hope that all this experience makes me an advisor in whom you feel you can place your confidence.
I have lived through the college experiences of my sons and their friends. So, as a parent, as well as an advisor and teacher, I bring expertise to the advising situation.
I work half time in the Advising Center and teach two major-level courses in the French Department. My advising schedule may change from semester to semester, as my teaching schedule dictates. Please be sure to check the hours I am in the UAC. They are listed on my Advising Syllabus.
I look forward to meeting each of you during the semester. Please give me a call!
