Hi there! My name is Kim Leibold, and I am an Academic Advisor at the University Advising Center here at
KU. I am originally from Des Moines, Iowa. I completed both my Bachelors degree in Health and Human
Performance and my Masters degree in Higher Education at Iowa State University in Ames. (Go Cyclones!)
I have been involved in Student Affairs since I was an undergrad, working in Recreation, Student Health,
Study Abroad, and Athletics through the years. Outside of work I enjoy concerts, sporting events,
and movies. I also love horseback riding, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
I'm here as a guide to help you find your way onto a successful academic path. This involves helping you
decide a major, navigate course requirements, and develop successful academic skills, but it also involves
helping you with other aspects of university life. I can help you find great ways to get involved, help you
figure out solutions to problems you may be encountering, and just be here as someone to listen. College
can be a confusing, frustrating, and completely wonderful time in your life. I am here to provide support
as you navigate your way through! The best way to be successful academically is to live a full and healthy
lifestyle! Come see me- I look forward to meeting with you!
