Hello and welcome to the University of Kansas! I am Kelli Nichols, an assistant director in the University
Advising Center (UAC). If you're searching for a major, looking for ways to make connections on campus,
or just have questions about KU or your academic career, I am here to help. If I can't answer your
questions, I'll help you find someone who can.
I am a native of Topeka, KS and have "walked down the Hill" twice at KU. I earned bachelor's degrees in
accounting and business administration in the School of Business. After a few years in Ann Arbor, MI, I
returned to KU and earned a master's degree in higher education administration. While an undergraduate, I
worked in a variety of on-campus positions including being a Peer Advisor in UAC, a telecounselor in the
Office of Admissions and Scholarships, and a teaching assistant in the School of Business. I have worked as
a graduate assistant in the School of Business Student & Academic Services and in Student Services at the KU
Medical Center. In my current position, I coordinate the KU Majors Fair and work with our Peer Advisors.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching college athletics, walking my
dog, and shopping.
I look forward to meeting you and congratulate you on beginning your career at the University of Kansas.
