My name is Joel Oliver Pearson and I received my B.S. in Social Sciences and my M.S. in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University.
While a Graduate student I participated in an international assistantship with Tecnologico de Monterey in Cuernavaca, Mx. I learned so much about myself and my perspective on life radically changed. I urge everyone to take advantage of the study abroad opportunities KU has to offer. Feel free to speak with me in Spanish any time you see me for I love to capitalize on every opportunity to sharpen my Spanish speaking skills.
I am very excited to be an Academic Advisor and am committed to helping students realize their greatest potential in every area of their lives.
