Financial Assistance
The University of Kansas believes that FSI is very valuable for students, and for this reason a limited number of need-based, privately funded partial grants are available to ensure that the greatest number of students who want to attend may do so.

In order to be considered for FSI grants, students must indicate interest on the FSI application and have a complete 2009-10 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA). Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. (Paper copies of the FAFSA are also available from high school counselors.) Please file the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1, 2009. Receipt of a private grant for FSI 2009 will not affect any federal financial aid awards for the 2009-10 academic year. FSI grant award notifications will be mailed from the University Advising Center by late May.

You must read the whole brochure to apply online. (4 of 6)
