Pre-nursing students at the University of Kansas have the opportunity to receive individualized and informed academic assistance from School of Nursing advisors and advisors in the University Advising Center (UAC). Advisors from the School of Nursing come to the Lawrence campus regularly to work with pre-nursing students.

• Meet with advisors on a regular basis (at least twice per semester) to discuss application processes, course options, volunteer opportunities, and a variety of other items.

• Come prepared to each advising appointment. Bring with you: pre-nursing checksheet (20 KB), ARTS from and other transcripts, list of questions, work schedule (if applicable), application materials, and information from other schools you may plan to attend.
