How to check your Academic Notices
The mission of the University Advising Center (formerly the Freshman-Sophomore Advising Center) is to help students take ownership of their education by:
- Providing accurate and personalized academic information;
- Educating students about their academic responsibility;
- Helping identify and integrate the many resources of the University; and
- Assisting and advocating for students as they experience a variety of college transitions.
If you are 10 minutes late or don’t know who your advisor is, you may need to reschedule your appointment.
The UAC is open weekdays from 8AM to 5PM.

The UAC is committed to respecting and valuing the diversity of KU students, their perspectives, life experiences, interests, world views and cultures. We seek to foster an environment in which the dignity and unique characteristics of each individual are recognized and respected. To that end, the UAC's goal is to help all students realize their academic potential regardless of race, religion, color, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status or parental status.
